Ghost Servo was founded in Wolz’s studio in the forest of North Carolina and is inspired by internet projects and artists who ventured away from the conventional sounds of the radio to find something unique.
The name "Ghost Servo" encapsulates this vision perfectly. The term “ghost” reflects the haunting, ethereal qualities of Wolz's soundscapes, while “servo” hints at the mechanical and precise nature of the feelings he conveys.
